Philadelphia Union Academy forward David Vazquez showcased his class on the international stage as he scored a memorable goal in the United States' Round of 16 match at the FIFA U-17 World Cup.
Entering the match at the hour mark with the Stars and Stripes down a goal, Vazquez teed up a perfect free kick chance in the 80th minute with a left-footed shot that snuck through a gaggle of players and into the back of the net.
Unfortunately for the United States the celebrations were short lived as Germany found a game winner in the seven minutes later to advance to the Quarterfinals.
