2014: Signed with the Union on Jan. 30 after appearing in 15 games for Sochaux during 2013-14 season. Nogueira appeared in 29 games and started 28, including the team’s first 16 games. He scored his first career MLS goal on March 29 during a 1-1 draw with Montreal. Later in the year, he scored his second goal against New England on May 17, which was nominated by MLS for the 2014 AT&T Goal of the Year.
2012-13: Played in 29 games, starting 25 for Sochaux. He scored two goals and added two assists on the season, most notably a goal he scored on March 10, 2013 that aided in Sochaux' 3-2 victory against Evian Thonon.
2010-11: Solidified his position by appearing in 22 games. He notched one goal and one assist during the season.
2009-10: Was named the best player of Sochaux (French Ligue 1) but sustained a series of injuries and could not return until the 2010-11 season.
2007-08: Joined Sochaux after being in the youth program, appearing in three matches and starting in one. During this time, he led his team to win the Coupe Gambardella, a U-19 French tournament.
