OKUGO, MCINERNEY CALLED UP BY U-20 USMNT
CHICAGO (May 5, 2010) – Philadelphia Union’s own Amobi Okugo and Jack McInerney return to their U-20 United States Men’s National Team duties this month when the duo travels to Uitgeest, Netherlands to compete in the Cor Groenewegan Tournament from May 15-25.
Though the tournament schedule has not been finalized, the 20-man team, coached by Thomas Rongen, will play friendly matches against Senegal on May 18 and Korea Republic on May 20.
This is Okugo’s third tour of the year with the team, having played in the 2009 CONCACAF U-20 Championship in February and the Dallas Cup in March, while McInerney was called up to the squad for the CONCACAF Championship.
