Local Heroes Coming to PPL Park July 31

Union to honor local Police, Fire Fighters and other heroes July 31

The next home game at PPL Park against the New England
Revolution (July 31, 3:30pm) will have a special feel, as the Philadelphia
Union will honor local Police, Fire Fighters, Emergency
Service Workers and Military members. Local heroes and their families will receive
a discount on group tickets, a mention on the Jumbotron, and a chance to take part in special activities
while enjoying an afternoon of soccer.

"We're honored to have an opportunity to salute the men and women of the Delaware Valley who risk their own lives and well being to provide safe communities for us all," said Union President Tom Veit. "We look forward to welcoming them to PPL Park next Saturday."

The largest group in attendance from each branch will be represented on the field at halftime by a member of their group.

Before
the match, there will be a 2:00pm tug of war competition in the Toyota Plaza
pitting the various heroes groups against one another. The winning group will receive Union t-shirts and earn bragging
rights until next summer.

Families are encouraged to come
along for the match and take advantage of the pre-game inflatables, live music and other fun activities.

Space is limited, so contact the Union ticket office today at 1-877-21-UNION (877-218-6466)  to find out how your group can take advantage
of this exciting event.
