Mwanga, Coudet to Miss Colorado Match

Neither player made trip to COL; Both uncertain for Saturday

Forward Danny Mwanga and midfielder Eduardo Coudet will miss the Union's matchup against the Colorado Rapids Wednesday. Both were listed as questionable heading into the match.

After initially suffering a mildly separated shoulder against the Chicago Fire on September 11, Mwanga suited up just four days later, coming off the bench against the San Jose Earthquakes. The number one overall pick in the 2010 SuperDraft then started on Saturday against Chivas USA, but was forced to exit at the half. It was revealed after the club's 3-0 win that Mwanga had aggravated the injury.

Mwanga is second on the club with seven goals and tied for third with foul assists. The dynamic 19-year-old striker currently paces all rookies in goals scored.

Coudet will miss his fifth straight match with a strained right calf. Prior to his extended absence the 26-year-old Argentine had started all seven matches since joining the club.

The status of both players for Saturday's home match against Houston is uncertain.
