Moreno Rejoins Venezuelan National Team

Moreno will go through training camp, play Ecuador Nov. 17

Chester, Pa. (November 8, 2010) –  Philadelphia Union’s forward Alejandro Moreno reported to Mucuchies, Venezuela today to join the Venezuelan National Team for next week’s friendly against Ecuador. The 20-man roster will travel to Quito, Ecuador, on Monday, November 15, and will face off against their South American foe on Wednesday, November 17.

Moreno last played with La Vinotinto in early October when the team played Bolivia to a 3-1 win on October 7 and Mexico to a 2-2 draw on October 12. The striker, who started in both games, logged 72 and 67 minutes, respectively.
