Union Reveal Expansion Draft Protected List

11 players at risk of selection by the Vancouver Whitecaps and Portland Timbers Wednesday

Chester, Pa. (November 22, 2010) – Philadelphia Union revealed today the list of eleven players who will be ineligible for selection during the 2010 MLS Expansion Draft on Wednesday, November 24.  Additionally, Union youngsters Jack McInerney, Danny Mwanga and Amobi Okugo are exempt from the draft due to their status as Generation Adidas members.

With a total of fourteen players exempt from selection (eleven protected players plus three Generation adidas), 11 Union members will be available on Wednesday when Portland and Vancouver continue filling up their rosters.
