Daily Doop: Birthday boy rundown and local TV times forthcoming
Hey everyone, in the spirit of this being the 43rd birthday of our fearless leader manager John Hackworth we thought in today’s “The Daily Doop,” we'd break down a list of other “famous celebrities” that were born on the same day.
In the soccer world:
Real Madrid and Portuguese forward-midfielder Cristiano Ronaldo
Manchester City and Argentine forward Carlos Tevez
Santos FC and Brazilian forward Neymar
In the sports world:
Baseball great Hank Aaron who held Major League Baseball’s home run record with 755 home runs – pre-steroid era, of course
Baseball great Roberto Alomar who was a 12-time MLB All-Star
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Roger Staubach, who this writer’s affinity for all things Philadelphia sports will not allow me to regale you with his accomplishments.
Former Penn State quarterback Daryll Clark.
In the music world:
R&B singer and New Edition front man Bobby Brown
Country singer Sara Evans
Former Guns and Roses guitarist Duff McKagan
In the television and movie world:
Actor Darren Criss, star of Glee
Stephen J. Cannell, producer of such awesomeness as the original “A-Team” and “The Rockford Files”
Actresses Laura Linney and Jennifer Jason Leigh
Director Michael Mann (who in this writer’s opinion made one of the best movies of all time with “Heat.”)
Think of someone we missed? Leave us a comment below.
Happy birthday, Hack; we all hope it was a good one.
