2014: Did not appear in any league matches. While on loan, he helped lead Harrisburg City Islanders to the USL Pro championship match against Sacramento.

2013: Did not appear in any league matches, but played with the club's developmental affiliate in the Harrisburg City Islanders.

2012: Played in two games totaling 26 minutes. He made his MLS regular season debut March 18th in the 71st minute against the Colorado Rapids.  Hernandez made his only other appearance on April 28, 2012 against San Jose.  After the season Hernandez joined the La Liga team Real Sociedad for a training assignment.

2011: In his first unofficial appearance for Philadelphia Union, Hernandez scored the lone goal in Union’s 1-0 defeat of Everton F.C. in front of a packed PPL Park…  Scored 16 goals in 26 appearances for his club team, Players Development Academy… Named the U-17/18 Development Academy Player of the Year by U.S. Soccer… Honored as a NJ Star Ledger First Team All-Prep player…  Named to the U-17/18 Development Academy Starting IX and East Conferences Starting XI… Scored 16 goals while leading St. Benedicts Prep to the school’s seventh national Championship.

2008-2009: Played for L.A. Galaxy’s U-15/16 Development Academy making 24 appearances and scoring a total of five goals.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played soccer for St. Benedicts Preparatory School.
