CHESTER, Pa. (August 6, 2010) - Philadelphia Union forward Sebastien Le Toux has been voted “Best Athlete” in Philadelphia Magazine’s annual “Best of Philly” edition. The magazine, on newsstands now, picks Philadelphia’s best in categories ranging from restaurants to doctors. Honorees are selected based on nominations sent in by fans and staffers.
Le Toux leads the Union with nine goals and seven assists in 14 games. His 16 combined goals and assists are collectively first among all MLS players. A starter in the 2010 MLS All-Star game, Le Toux was drafted by Philadelphia in the MLS Expansion Draft after playing with the Seattle Sounders. He also played for FC Lorient in his home country of France.
Philadelphia Union supporters group the Sons of Ben was also honored by the magazine, garnering “Best Logo.”
