The Philadelphia Union are proud to announce that N3rd Street Gamers will be the team’s official esports partner and will power and administrate all of the club’s esports events including the Union’s esports Open Tournament. The tournament consists of three events throughout the Greater Philadelphia region and will crown Philly’s top FIFA 18 player to represent the Union at PAX East in Boston (April 2018).

NSG is a Philadelphia based esports network focused on serving semi-professional, amateur and developing gamers. In 2009, NSG was founded by entrepreneurs John Fazio and Rob Hilsk. Starting as a gaming venue, they now provide hardware, tournament administration, and broadcast services to gaming communities in Philadelphia. Recently, NSG announced their Eastern Conference Championship — a unifying circuit that will encompass CS :GO, Street Fighter V, Tekken 7, Hearthstone, StarCraft II, Madden, Rocket League, and Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite. With backing from top sports tech venture capital firm, SeventySix Capital, led by MLB World Series Champion Ryan Howard, NSG is laying a national framework for esports talent development. The NSG Eastern Conference will feature more than $200,000 in prize money and includes stops in Philadelphia, Chicago and our championship event in Washington D.C. Other events include Fragadelphia, Cheeseadelphia, Go For Broke and Brotherly Brawl.
