Philadelphia Union hosted its first Fan Council meeting of 2018 on Jan. 15 to provide feedback and input on a variety of topics that help create the best possible game day experience for fans. The Union's Fan Council acts as the leading voice and communication method for the greater Union fan base.
The focus of the meeting was on 2018 Union branding, Season Ticket Member perks and Theme Night activations. Fan Council members voiced their comments, support and concerns on ideas the Union front office staff presented to them. In return, staff also listened to ideas the Fan Council members had regarding future fan experiences.
Fan Council members we able to discuss their opinions on the look and feel of the Union's branding for the season, how to incorporate a feeling of unity at the stadium and welcoming new members who may have never attended a match before.
Theme Night activations were also a large focus during the meeting, specifically on what the Union can do to improve from last season. Overall, the night was insightful to both Fan Council members and front office staff on taking the next steps in creating the best fan environment this season.
