Paws on the Pitch is back for its 3rd season! The dog day of summer returns on Saturday, July 20th when the Union takes on Chicago Fire.
Dogs less than or equal to 30lbs are considered a lap dog. These dogs will be expected to sit in the owners' foot space or on their owner's laps. Dogs over 30lbs or non-lap dogs need to be positioned in the seat next to their owner.
This year the Union and Tito's Homemade Vodka are teaming up with PAWS to bring adoptable dogs back to the pitch for the evening. Any fans interested in adopting can stop by the Tito's Handmade Vodka Dog Deck on July 20th. For more information about PAWS, please see below and click here.
The Union will also be teaming up with PAWS, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to saving Philadelphia’s homeless and at-risk animals. PAWS is the city’s largest rescue partner and provider of low-cost, basic veterinary care for pet owners and rescue organizations that cannot otherwise access or afford it. Through its three no-kill shelters, foster care network, and special events, PAWS finds loving homes for thousands of animals each year. PAWS is working to make Philadelphia a no-kill city where every healthy and treatable pet is guaranteed a home.
- Check in will be outside of the Crozer gate and will begin at 6:00 PM. Pooch passes, completed waivers and a copy of your dog's vaccination form all must be present at check-in. Fans will be able to exit and re-enter through Crozer Gate only to utilize the grass area.
- In addition, fans will be allowed to walk around the stadium with their pups. However, to watch the game, fans must be seated in Section 121.
