On May 2, the Philadelphia Union Foundation participated in mock interviews with students from Chester High School in an effort to help them prepare for summer jobs and life after high school.
Leading up to the interviews, members of Chester High's 9th grade class learned how to create and build resumes, while also learning proper interview etiquette and dress code. On Tuesday, these students participated in mock interviews to give them interview skills and experience.
Members of the Philadelphia Union Foundation asked these students interview questions, ranging from how school has prepared them for the position to what does it take to be successful in the work place.
“It was really nice to see all of the community members who came out to support the students at Chester Upland High School prepare for the workplace," said Nicolette Stoner, Philadelphia Union Foundation and Community Relations Coordinator. "Interview skills are important and I enjoyed being a part of the experience.”
