US Soccer announced pairings for the 4th round of the 2019 US Open Cup today, and Philadelphia Union will face DC United at Audi Field on Wednesday, June 12 at 7:00 p.m. ET.
Last season, the Union knocked off three MLS sides en route to the US Open Cup final, but they began the tournament against Richmond Kickers of the USL Championship. This year there will be a similarly difficult route to the final and, as always, the Union will take the USOC seriously and aim to get one step further than last year.
DC has started the MLS season strong and will be looking to show the world they can knock off another top team in the east.
