  • The club’s 8-4-4 record (28 points) continues their best start to a season in team history through 16 games.
  • The Union set an all-time club record for shots blocked in a single match with 13 … the previous team record was 10, set at Houston on March 19, 2011.
  • Since the Union entered MLS in 2010, only three other teams have ever recorded 13 or more blocked shots in a single match … Colorado totaled 14 blocked shots vs. Real Salt Lake on March 15, 2017, while two other teams matched today’s Union total of 13: Chicago at D.C. United (October 15, 2011) and Minnesota at LAFC (May 9, 2018).
  • Union defender Kai Wagner’s five blocked shots today ties a club record, set three times previously: Danny Califf vs. Houston (3/19/11), Amobi Okugo vs. Portland (3/8/14) and Auston Trusty vs. Atlanta (6/2/18).
  • The Union became the first team to hand Minnesota United a loss at their home field this season.
  • Auston Trusty scored the game-winning goal and his second career MLS goal. He scored his first MLS goal during his rookie season on September 15, 2018 vs. Montreal.
  • In his 80th start for the Union, Haris Medunjanin scored his first goal of the season (fifth career), his last goal was scored July 11, 2018 at Chicago.
  • Jamiro Monteiro scored his third goal of the season in his 10th game played. He now has three goals and three assists on the season.
