The Philadelphia Union are pleased to announce that the hometown hero for Saturday night's match against Chicago Fire will be Specialist Colin Johnson.
Specialist Johnson enlisted in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard in 2017. A longtime resident of Kensington, Philadelphia, Johnson currently continues his family tradition of military service.
Johnson is attached to Philadelphia's 1st Squadron of the 104th Cavalry, which just returned home from their summer wargames. As a satellite terminal operator, Johnson helps to keep the Cavalry communicating.
