In the run up to the start of the 2020 Major League Soccer slate getting started on Saturday when Philadelphia Union kicks off against FC Dallas, MLSsoccer.com's team of editors, writers and columnists each took a turn at listing their Top 50 MLS players and those were fused into a single list.
The Union's newest Designated Player Jamiro Monteiro cracked the top half of the list along after captain Alejandro Bedoya was announced Tuesday morning.
"The midfielder was on loan with Philadelphia last season and was so good that the Union paid a club-record transfer fee to bring him back on a permanent basis. He should again be a top midfielder in MLS this season."
