After Philadelphia Union and the Philadelphia Union Foundation announced earlier this week its “FIGHT FOR PHILLY” initiative, the first of five planned donations wrapped up Friday afternoon with over 800 meals donated to four hospitals.

With the help of community assistance programs enhanced by a donation of at least $55,000 from Captain Morgan, the latest delivery of  Chick-Fil-A lunches to frontline medical workers topped 1,000 after countless meals were delivered Wednesday to the Crozer-Chester Medical Center.

For fans interested in getting involved in the relief effort, “FIGHT FOR PHILLY” t-shirts are available to purchase, and all net proceeds will go toward the platform’s charitable efforts.
