Przybylko's four-goal night propels Union past Atlanta United

After a breakout performances last season against Atlanta United, Kacper Przybylko set a club record with four goals as Philadelphia Union knocked out Atlanta by a 6-2 margin in PhiladelphiaUnion.com's FIFA20 simulation.


All four of the forward's goals were needed as the two Eastern Conference sides battled back and forth on the virtual pitch. After the visitors took the early lead, the Boys in Blue answered with a 33rd minute goal from FIFA20 leading scorer Sergio Santos. Three minutes later, Przybylko took over with a near post run and strike that beat Atlanta United's Brad Guzan.


The match once more was tied after a free-kick strike from Pity Martinez but Przybylko with an impressive effort just before the halftime whistle. Union homegrown Brenden Aaronson set up the play, firing a cross to the far post toward Przybylko. The forward fired a header that was stopped by the USMNT keeper but Przybylko reacted first to the rebound and headed in the second effort for the 3-2 lead.


Przybylko completed the hat trick in the 61st minute once more with a headed effort. Captain Alejandro Bedoya served in the corner kick and found Przybylko at the near post that he fired hard past the keeper. With a 4-2 lead, the Union and Przybylko weren't done yet as right back Ray Gaddis sparked an attack down the wing and lifted a cross into the box that Przybylko smashed into the net with a left-footed volley.


The win pushes Philadelphia Union's FIFA20 unbeaten streak to 10 matches with the last seven contests ending in three points for the virtual Boys in Blue.
