Last week, the Union and Sons of Ben lost a very important part of their community, when Kenny Hanson, former Sons of Ben president, passed away. The Union, Sons of Ben, and members of the soccer community all used Saturday's match as a way to honor him, doing so in many forms.

To my friend Kenny, thank you for welcoming me to the @philaunion & making me a part of the @sonsofben family from the first day that I stepped foot into Philly. You not only became one of my closest friends, you became a part of my family and we shared some incredible memories that I will cherish forever. Thank you for always supporting me, cheering for me & believing in me. You've left behind a legacy we can only hope to live up to...Until we meet again my brother. #thisonesforyou #forkenny

Kenny will always be with us. And in his memory, the Union name him as the IBX Man of the Match.
