It's another week of Union soccer, and as the fantasy season enters the final stretch, here are three players you should target in the Union's match against New York Red Bulls
CJ Sapong - F - $8.3
Coming off a solid performance against Minnesota United FC, Sapong presents the best offensive option against Red Bulls this week. He's scored 21 points in just two meetings between the two clubs this season, which leads the team. He scored a hat-trick against Red Bulls in the team's first meeting, and is leading the team's in goals against Red Bulls in 2017. Sapong has five career goals against Red Bulls, the most of any active player on the Union roster. He will be the prime candidate to score against New York, and he should be in your lineup.
Fafa Picault - MF - $6.7
Fafa Picault has been one of the Union's best road players this season, and he should continue to do so against New York Red Bulls. Three of Picault's goals have come on the road, which is tied with Sapong for the team lead. One of his two assists have also come on the road. Picault averages 4.4 points per road game this season, so if you're looking for a solid depth player to chip in points, he will be the player for you.
Alejandro Bedoya - MF - $7.4
Bedoya was forced to miss the Union's previous match due to yellow card accumulation, but heading into Red Bulls, he will be well-rested and eager to get back out on the pitch. In his three previous matches preceding the suspension, Bedoya was averaging 5 points per fantasy match. Going into the match against Red Bulls, which should fit right into the physical style of play Bedoya likes, he should be a prime fantasy candidate to have a big day, even if he doesn't end up on the scoresheet.
