The Union head down to Atlanta to face off against the red and black in a mid-week showdown. It may have only been a month since the two sides met for the first time in each team's history, but get to know the expansion side a little better.

Player to Watch: Josef Martinez
Much like the last meeting between these two clubs, Martinez serves as the engine in the Atlanta United FC offense. Martinez has been on a tear lately, with eight goals in his last five matches and 17 goals on the season as a whole, tying him for fourth-most in MLS. However, the Union were able to hold Martinez scoreless when the two squads met at the end of August. Jack Elliott was paired up against him for most of the match, using his positioning and height to make Martinez's night wholly uncomfortable. The Union will need more of that play from the Rookie of the Year candidate, especially in Atlanta, where Martinez has scored 14 of his 17 goals.
