Big win against FCD

The Union won its first match in team history against FC Dallas Saturday with a convincing 3-1 victory. It was a total team effort against one of the top teams in the West, and the match was highlighted by fantastic individual efforts by Ilsinho and CJ Sapong, along with one of the prettiest goals in Union history. Video review

In the 79th minute of the match, the Union made history as it became the first match in MLS to use video review. FC Dallas scored, but John McCarthy had been fouled before the shot, and video review confirmed this fact. The goal was disallowed, making it the first overturned goal in MLS history.
