Army and Navy will battle on the pitch when the two squads meet at Talen Energy Stadium for the sixth annual Army-Navy Cup.
The Army-Navy Cup, which started in 2012, serves as an annual friendly competition between the two service academies, and has quickly become one of the highest attended collegiate soccer matches east of the Mississippi River.
In the first match in 2012, there were 3,700 fans in attendance. That number has ballooned to more than 10,000 at last year's event.
The two sides are very evenly matched as well, as shown by the 2-2-1 overall record in the first five meetings for the Cup. The inaugural match ended in a draw, and then Navy jumped ahead in the series lead with two straight victories. However, fortune shifted back to Army, as the black and gold have won the two most recent matches.
Overall, Navy holds the all-time record between the two schools with a 40-29-14 series lead.
