Union Today: Playoff Bound, Looking ahead to Chicago and more

Champions Reborn

Bethlehem Steel FC made history last night, as the team clinched its first ever playoff appearance. While the team clinched, its exact playoff seeding is still to be determined, with Steel FC able to finish at the No. 6, No. 7 or No. 8 seed. The team closes out the season against St. Louis FC Sunday afternoon, and then will shift its focus to the playoffs. To learn more about Bethlehem's first playoff appearance, click here.

Chicago Bound

The Union travel to Chicago this weekend for the final road match of the 2017 season. Head Coach Jim Curtin said he will use the Chicago match and the team's final game against Orlando City SC to continue to evaluate players, both for this season and in 2018. He also said he and the team want to close out the season the right way with two wins. To hear more from Curtin, click here.

Community Day

Last week, the Union and Allstate closed out its Kick Bullying Challenge Week with a Community Day, where the organizations held a service project in the Chester community. Together, the two went to STEM Academy, where they revitalized a community playground. STEM Academy also helped, as students helped re-mulch the playground and more.
