Union announce Doolsta as club’s official eMLS Cup representative

Philadelphia Union have announced the signing of Cormac Dooley (Doolsta) as the club’s official representative for eMLS Cup. Doolsta, the 17-year-old gamer, competed in the Union Esports Open presented by Independence Blue Cross, powered by N3rd Street Gamers which consisted of over 100 gamers throughout the Greater Philadelphia area. He was crowned the event’s grand prize winner after competing in Regional Group Stages and battling through some of the toughest FIFA 18 finalists in the region.

Cormac Dooley (Doolsta) was born in Paoili, Pennsylvania and moved to Ireland with his family at 10 weeks old. Doolsta grew up in Ireland where he developed his love for soccer and EA FIFA games. He later moved back to the States and settled in West Chester, Pennsylvania over a year ago. Doolsta can thank his Irish background for the awareness of the tournament. His friends in Ireland heard about the tournament and encouraged him to sign up.

Doolsta is an experienced FIFA player, having 13 years of experience playing with Manchester United and France. He plays a possessive style on the pitch which led him to his personal best 86th monthly ranking in FUT (FIFA Ultimate Team) Champs Americas for November. The left-hander from West Chester East High School plays nativelyon PlayStation.

When Doosta isn’t on the sticks he plays both travel soccer for Liverpool Celtic and for West Chester East High School as a midfielder.  You won’t have to look far to see ties to the Union and Doolsta, as YSC President Charlie Dodds currently coaches Cormac and the Boys’ soccer team at West Chester East.

Doolsta will represent Philadelphia Union at eMLS Cup at PAX East Boston from April 5th – 8th and will look to bring home the title of the best gamer in all of eMLS! To see Doolsta’s highlights, you can re-watch the entire stream of the Union Esports Open Finals here.
