SEPTEMBER 9TH: BUBBLE RUN
If you’ve done a traditional 5K, you know they can be a bit lackluster. But the BUBBLE RUN™ is like running through Willy Wonka's factory. Clad in white t-shirts, adults, kids and strollers run, walk, dance and play across 5 kilometers of absolute fun! Waves start every 3-5 minutes. Then, at each kilometer, participants will run through the Foam Bogs where there is enough colored foam to cover you from head to toe!
Its great fun for the whole family to enjoy!
SEPTEMBER 16TH: PREMIERSHIP RUGBY
Premiership Rugby can confirm that next season’s Newcastle Falcons’ match against double European champions Saracens on Saturday, Sept. 16th will be played at Talen Energy Stadium. Read more here.
OCTOBER 7TH: COLOR ME RAD
Color Me Rad is loosely based on the Hindu Festival of Colors, otherwise known as Holi. The festive colors used are a sign of winter’s end and spring’s new beginnings. Or in the case of RAD; the color represents the end of lame runs and the beginning of fun runs.
OCTOBER 15TH: ARMY NAVY CUP
Army-Navy Cup returns to Talen Energy Stadium for the sixth time on Sunday, October 15 as the two service academies renew their rivalry with this patriotic event, scheduled for a 2:00 p.m. ET kickoff.
Army-Navy Cup has seen significant growth over its five years at Talen Energy Stadium. After the inaugural match drew a crowd of 3,700 supporters in 2012, the 2013 edition nearly doubled that number, topping the 7,000 mark. Following the founding of an Army-Navy Cup host committee, the game has since expanded to attract over 30,000 supporters over the past three editions combined. During that time, attendance was among the top handful of crowds for a college soccer match anywhere in the country and the largest crowds east of the Mississippi.
OCTOBER 28TH: BLACKLIGHT RUN
WHAT IS BLACKLIGHT RUN?
The Blacklight Run™ is none other than the brightest, most fun 5K out there. At the Blacklight Run™ we aren’t focused on how fast or how far you can run, what type of exercise you enjoy, or if you’re an avid runner. We don’t care if you’ve never run a day in your life! Instead, we welcome any and all participants looking for a glowing good time. Whether you sprint it, run it, or walk it, it doesn’t matter to us! We simply want you to enjoy it.
