For the first time in MLS history, the Philadelphia Union will welcome members of the local community into the 2021 Kit Design Process. This first-ever Union Creators' Collective will help drive the ideation and feedback for the official 2021 Union secondary jersey. Not only will the Creators' Collective get a behind-the-scenes, insider’s look at how the Union kit comes to life each year, they will be an integral component in the process to influence the 2021 kit.
Members of the Union Creators' Collective will consist of representation from the Union's founding supporters group, The Sons of Ben, select members of the local press/media, representation from the Union's existing Fan Council and creators of the best "fan concept" as shared by fans on social media in recent years.
And finally - the Union looking for one SuperFan to be the final piece in the Union Creators' Collective. Fans can nominate themselves or people they know for the chance to be selected. Nominations will be collected from April 2nd through the Union’s home game on Saturday, April 6th. Submissions will be voted on by Union players and the top 2 will become finalists, with the final winner chosen by the fan vote on social media channels.
The selected winner will receive an official invitation into the Union Creators' Collective and must be able to appear in person on April 11th for the initial kickoff meeting.
