East Hartford, CT (October 3, 2020) – The Philadelphia Union fell on the road to Toronto FC tonight at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, CT. Sergio Santos opened up the scoring with an early goal in the fifth minute. Toronto’s Ayo Akinola scored an equalizer in the 58th minute, followed by a header from Alejandro Pozuelo in the 76th to give Toronto the win. The loss tonight ended the Union’s five-match unbeaten streak. Tonight’s start marked Andre Blake’s 139th start, surpassing Sheanon Williams for fourth most starts in club history. The Union return home to Subaru Park on October 7 where they will face FC Cincinnati (7:30 p.m. ET / PHL17).
