The Philadelphia Union Foundation has embraced the U.S. Soccer Foundation’s goal to create 1,000 new dedicated soccer spaces nationwide by 2026 to increase healthy living and active children.
In 2015, the Union Foundation dedicated its first Union-branded mini-pitch at Stetser Elementary School in Chester, PA. A few years later, our second mini-pitch was opened at Main Street Elementary School in Chester.Â
On July 17, 2019, Philadelphia Union Foundation and Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Partner with Rebuild and Parks & Recreation to build 15 mini-pitches and two signature fields within the next five years.
