Philadelphia Union today announced that Homegrown defender Anton Sorenson has been called in to the U.S. Under-20 Men’s National Team training camp in Carson, California from April 22 to May 1. The camp is being held in preparation for the 2022 Concacaf U-20 Championship in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, which will also serve as qualification for the FIFA U-20 World Cup and the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.

This is Sorenson’s first call up for the U-20’s. Previously, he was called up to a U-14 36-player camp roster in 2017 and was later called up to the U-16 team three times, making his debut on April 24, 2018. He was a member of the 2018 U-16 squad that finished third in the Torneo Delle Nazioni in Italy.
