WASHINGTON, DC. (May 23, 2021) – The Philadelphia Union took on D.C. United at Audi Field on Sunday, May 23rd. The Union took three points on the road, extending their unbeaten run to four games. With the win, they are now third in the Eastern Conference with 11 points and remain undefeated on the road this season. During stoppage time of the first half, after a VAR review, Jamiro Monteiro found Kacper Przybylko with a lobbed pass into the box that the friendly striker put away after being called offside initially. The goal put Przybylko in a tie for third on the Union’s all-time scoring list with 25 goals. Andre Blake came in clutch once again, as he finished the match with seven saves. The one goal would be enough for The Boys in Blue to complete their third straight shutout bringing their MLS regular season clean sheet total to four. It was the first time since 2018 that the Union have had three straight shutouts and have now won 9 of the last 10 matches against D.C. United.

The Union are home at Subaru Park on Sunday, May 30, where they will face the Portland Timbers. (7:00 p.m. ET / FS1).
