Box Score | Philadelphia Union 2, Inter Miami CF 2

Philadelphia Union hosted Inter Miami CF and Lionel Messi at Subaru Park on Wednesday night, resulting in a 2-2 draw. Midfielder Indiana Vassilev opened the scoring early for Philadelphia in the 11th minute. Miami’s Daniel Pinter quickly found the equalizer, and five minutes later, Miami doubled their lead with Lionel Messi finding the back of the net in the 26th. In the second half, Homegrown defender Neil Pierre leveled the match in the 58th minute, scoring off a header to bring the Union back even with Miami. The Union continued to push for a late winner, outshooting Inter Miami 18 to 6, earning a point at home.

The Union will travel to Q2 Stadium on Saturday, August 22nd to face Austin FC (8:30 p.m. ET / Apple TV).
