Philadelphia Union defeated Atlanta United FC 3-2 Saturday evening at Subaru Park. Atlanta’s Miguel Almirón opened the scoring in the 30th minute to give them the lead going into halftime. In the second half, Atlanta scored in the 66th minute to double their lead. Forward Milan Iloski responded with a goal in the 73rd minute to cut the Union’s deficit to one. Philadelphia continued to push for an equalizer and found it in the sixth minute of stoppage time, with Homegrown defender Neil Pierre putting a header into the back of the net. Just one minute later, forward Ezekiel Alladoh scored his first MLS goal, helping the Union gain all three points at home. With his goal in tonight’s match, forward Milan Ilsoki passed Dániel Gazdag and now holds the Union record for most consecutive MLS matches with a goal, extending his scoring streak to six games.Â
The Union will return to Subaru Park on Thursday, August 8th to host Cruz Azul in the first match of Phase One for the Leagues Cup (8:00 p.m. ET / Apple TV, FOX, Univision). Â
