CHESTER, Pa. (May 8, 2019) – For the first time in team history, the Union came from a two-goal deficit to win a regular season match. Ilsinho netted a brace and added an assist when Philadelphia Union came from behind to take the victory against New York Red Bulls at Talen Energy Stadium on Saturday night. Jamiro Monteiro scored for a second consecutive game. The club’s 9-4-4 record (31 points) continues their best start to a season in team history through 17 games.

  • With Jamiro Monteiro and Ilsinho scoring in the 60th and 61st minute tonight, it marked the third time in Union history that the club scored two goals in consecutive minutes … Danny Cruz scored in the 50th and 51st minute against Seattle (5/4/13) while CJ Sapong and Chris Pontius scored in the 67th and 68th minute, respectively, against the Red Bulls (7/17/16).
