Philadelphia Union II traveled to Beirne Stadium to face New England Revolution II on Sunday evening, earning a 4-3 victory. Union II defender Jordan Griffin opened the scoring early in the 10th minute before New England’s Myles Morgan equalized just five minutes later. Union II midfielder Kellan LeBlanc found the back of the net in the 27th minute to give the Union their second lead of the day, but New England leveled the match deep into stoppage time. LeBlanc responded with another goal just two minutes later to give the Union the advantage going into halftime. In the second half, New England brought the match level in the 66th minute. Forward Stas Korzeniowski found the back of the net with a right-footed shot in the 84th minute to seal the Union’s road victory.Â
Philadelphia Union II will return to Subaru Park on Sunday, August 23rd, where they will host CT United FC (3:00 p.m. ET / OneFootball).Â
