Forward earns third Team of the Matchday honor of 2026 after recording a brace in Philadelphia's comeback win over Chicago
Philadelphia Union forward Bruno Damiani has been named to the MLS Team of the Matchday for Matchday 30, Major League Soccer announced today.
Damiani earned the honor following his two-goal performance in the Union's comeback victory over Chicago Fire FC. His brace helped Philadelphia earn its fifth win of the season after trailing at halftime, becoming just the third MLS club in the post-shootout era to accomplish the feat five times in a single season.
The performance marked Damiani's team-leading third multi-goal MLS match of the season and brought his regular-season total to 11 goals, second-most on the club. Since Sept. 9, Damiani leads MLS with eight goals.

The victory extended Philadelphia's club-record winning streak to eight matches and its club-record unbeaten run to 14. The Union remain unbeaten since returning from the World Cup break, posting a 12-0-2 record since July 22.
The selection marks Damiani's third MLS Team of the Matchday honor of 2026, following previous selections on Matchdays 20 and 25.
The Union return to action Saturday when they host Charlotte FC at Subaru Park at 2:30 p.m. ET.
