After etching his name into Major League Soccer history, Philadelphia Union midfielder Cavan Sullivan has been named to the MLS Team of the Matchday following his performance against Orlando City.

His standout showing was highlighted by his first career MLS goal, making him the eighth-youngest goalscorer in league history at 16 years, 7 months, 15 days. The 16-year-old also added an assist, becoming the second-youngest player in MLS history to record both a goal and an assist in a single match.

Sullivan has appeared in 11 matches this season, tying a career high, while making a career-best four starts.

The Union return home to Subaru Park on Saturday to host the Columbus Crew at 7:30 p.m. ET on Apple TV in their final match before the World Cup break.
