Ahead of the club's first road match of 2022 at CF Montreal, Philadelphia Union Head Coach Jim Curtin provided an update on the status of the squad.

“We have everybody healthy and everybody is training which is good. Obviously Sergio's speed to get in behind is a real wild card for our group and it gives us an option when we are under pressure to play in behind. Sergio's speed and health and getting back to full health and improving his fitness is a good thing for us. We have a good stable of four strikers to choose from now and if we stay healthy I think it will give a lot of defenses problems."
