Ahead of the club's Eastern Conference showdown against Orlando City SC on Thursday night, Philadelphia Union Head Coach Jim Curtin provided an update on the status of the squad on Wednesday afternoon.
Anthony Fontana
"Anthony [Fontana] is still in [concussion protocol] as well. I think Anthony is a little further along. Our plan as of this morning is to bring him to Florida with us whether he is eligible for Orlando or Miami is to be determined but it would be nice to have another strong player in the group. We will see on that regard."
Ilsinho
"Ilsinho is getting closer and we will bring him to Florida with us and see how he does."
Jack de Vries
"Jack de Vries will remain out in concussion protocol. He just can't pass the tests so he can't go out on the field yet. It's been tough for him but the doctors have to clear him before he's able to rejoin the group."
