Philadelphia Union midfielder Daniel Gazdag was once again named to the MLS Team of the Matchday with his strong performance against the New England Revolution.
The Union's No. 10 had a breakout second half performance with a pair of goals in the MLS Rivalry Week showdown. Gazdag opened the scoring in the 55th minute, with the midfielder getting on the ball into the box and ripping a shot past Petrović for his first goal from the run of play this season.
In the 71st minute Mikael Uhre was taken down in the box. Referee Lukasz Szpala pointed to the spot, and Gazdag converted for his second goal of the evening and sixth of the season.
