Philadelphia Union are thrilled to announce some special events for Philadelphia Union Foundation Night which will take place on May 31st at 7:30PM ET.
The Philadelphia Union Foundation’s mission is to be an agent of change for the underserved in our area, by building safe spaces to play soccer, providing innovative educational initiatives, and developing a professional soccer infrastructure for youth in the City of Chester. Below are some ways you can help out the cause while having fun rooting on the Boys in Blue as they battle Charlotte FC.
Fans making their way to the match will want to make sure their first stop is Subaru Plaza where you can take out some aggression and help a great cause. Philadelphia Union Foundation is bringing back the fan-favorite car smash which will allow fans the chance to take a sledgehammer to a Charlotte themed car painted by members of the Chester High School Soccer Team. For only $5 each fan will get to enter and take three swings at the car starting at 5:30 p.m. ET.
You don't want to wait until Wednesday night to start helping the Philadelphia Union Foundation as their online auction is now online and will run until Thursday, June 1st at 8pm. Items up for auction include signed cleats from Alejandro Bedoya and Mikael Uhre, amazing ticket packages and one of a kind experiences including the chance to have Union Ring of Honor Legend, Sebastien Le Toux for a 1-hour training session hosted at your facility of choice.
Fans can sign up for the auction and place their bids by clicking here.
The Philadelphia Union Foundation is proud to conduct a 50/50 Raffle for all of the Union's home games. Raffle tickets for each Philadelphia Union Foundation 50/50 raffle will be available to purchase only to fans inside Subaru Park from two hours prior to the start of the game through the 75th minute.
One lucky fan will go home with half of the collected amount for each game. The winning 50/50 raffle ticket will be drawn by the Philadelphia Union Foundation utilizing an automated computer program at the end of each Philadelphia Union home game. The winning ticket will be announced at the conclusion of each match over the Subaru Park public announcement system.
