A busy March schedule meant plenty of options to choose from for the Primepoint Assist of March which will see Jose Martinez face off against Daniel Gazdag.
Martinez's nominated play came in the final stages of the Union's home contest against the Chicago Fire. With the contest deadlocked in a scoreless draw, Martinez picked out Joaquin Torres for the game-winning goal to extend the club's home winning streak.
Meanwhile Gazdag's flick came on the road in Montreal on March 18th. With the game level at 1-1, Gazdag sparked a counter with a quick look forward before delivering a perfectly weighted volley over the Canadian defense to spring Mikael Uhre 1v1 against the keeper for the goal.Â
