The Union faithful were decisive in their choice for the Primepoint Assist of May, selecting the quick restart from homegrowns Andrew Rick and Quinn Sullivan as the top helper.
The winning combination came during the club’s Eastern Conference clash against Columbus Crew SC with Rick starting the action off with a pin-perfect free kick from just outside his own 18. The pass put Sullivan into space behind the Crew’s defensive line and in one smooth motion, the midfielder whipped in a cross to Tai Baribo for the goal.
The assist was a monumental one for the club and their homegrown goalkeeper as Rick became the youngest keeper to register an assist in MLS history.
