Martinez joins the Venezuelan National Team for two international friendlies. Martinez, who has a total of 16 caps for La Vinotinto, recorded his first assist for the national team in a 1-1 draw against Ecuador on June 20, 2021. In his most recent call up, Martinez featured in World Cup Qualifier matches against Argentina (Mar. 25, 2022) and Columbia (Mar. 29, 2022). Venezuela will play against Malta (Jun. 1, 1:00 p.m.) and Saudi Arabia (Jun. 9, 2:00 p.m.).
