After leading a the latest comeback in club history, Philadelphia Union's Kai Wagner and Nathan Harriel have earned MLS Team of the Matchday honors, the league announced Thursday.
The duo combined on the game-tying goal in the 86th minute with Wagner sending in a corner kick that connected with a rising leap from the 24-year-old homegrown Harriel for the Union's first goal of the night.
The Union weren't content with just a road point and continued to push for a game winner and got it off a blast from Wagner that deflected off a Toronto FC player and into the back of the net in the second minute of stoppage time.
With another three points in the bag, the Union continue to lead the Eastern Conference on the backs of a eight-game league unbeaten streak. The Boys in Blue look to conclude their May mayhem schedule with another result as they face off against FC Dallas on Saturday night.
