A pair of former Philadelphia Union homegrowns made appearances for the U.S. Men's National Team as they faced off against Honduras in the Concacaf Nation League Semifinal on Thursday night.

Mark McKenzie earned the start for USMNT Head Coach Gregg Berhalter which marked the Genk defender's first start for the Stars and Stripes in a competitive contest. McKenzie made three tackles at center back as he helped them advance for the final with a shutout.

Brenden Aaronson too appeared in the 1-0 win with a late substitute appearance in place of Gio Reyna in the 78th minute of play. Aaronson set up the game-winning goal to forward Jordan Siebatcheu in the 89th minute to propel the squad to the final where they will face off against Mexico.
