Philadelphia Union II traveled to Belson Stadium Saturday evening to face New York City FC II, resulting in a 1-1 draw. After a scoreless first half, New York City benefited from an own goal in the 51st minute. In the second half, the Union found the equalizer when midfielder Matheus De Paula scored in the 80th minute, helping the Union earn a point after a 1-1 draw in regulation. Union II fell 8-7 in the post-regulation shootout, with New York City claiming the extra point. 

Philadelphia Union II will return home to Subaru Park to face FC Cincinnati 2 on Saturday, August 8th (12:00 p.m. ET / OneFootball).
