Philadelphia Union defender Amobi Okugo has been named to the EA SPORTS™ FIFA 13 Ultimate Team of the Week, a group players throughout the world selected each week for their high level of play.
EA SPORTS™ FIFA 13 Ultimate Team is a massive online community of fans building, managing and competing with their ultimate soccer team from the world’s best players in FIFA Soccer 13. Each week the world’s top performing players are selected to the FIFA 13 Ultimate Team of the Week and receive an “in form” item that increases the player’s attributes. Fans have the opportunity to collect Team of the Week players from in-game packs and then compete with those players on their FIFA Ultimate Team online against millions of other fans around the world on the Xbox 360® videogame and entertainment system and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system.
Okugo, the only player to represent Major League Soccer this week, scored the first goal of his career and recorded two tackles on Sunday in an effort that earned the club its first victory of 2013, a 2-1 contest against Colorado Rapids.
The 22-year-old defender also was named top player of Week 2 in MLSsoccer.com’s Top 3 Performers of the week.
